Who’s Sabotaging Your Success?

Henry David Thoreau said “If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.”
Imagination precedes success. When you imagine yourself as an accomplished business person, you have a shot at the brass ring. Working hard is important, but having faith while being positive is paramount. Many business owners and employees adopt negative self-talk and accept criticism as gospel; “you’ll never succeed”, “you’re not smart enough”, “you can’t compete.” Internalizing negative words pollutes your subconscious and manifests into defeatist thoughts and feelings. Inevitably, this sabotages your success.
Every accomplished goal was once imagined. If you think and feel successful, you’ll act that way, approaching work with confidence and a commitment to achievement. A modification of disposition has the power to change your destiny. Your personality creates your personal reality. But, if you act, think or feel disengaged and apathetic, that’s what you’ll attract. Your thoughts program your subconscious. It’s imperative that you implement positive and subjective attention towards the attainment of worthwhile goals. Your success (or failure) is wholly dependent on your opinion of yourself.
When it comes to achieving an enduring success, will you be a host to faith or a hostage to negativity?
